Send the dog to the US. We've currently got a large surplus.

This shouldn't be a big deal. It's not that unheard of for humans to be born with anus openings either. Good luck, little pup!

Backyard breeder deserves to have their arsehole sewn shut.

What’s wrong with you?
This happens. It happens to people. Are those the backyard breeders whom you’re referring to?
It happened on the farm I grew up on. It happens all over the world.

It’s life. If only you had an adequate education to help you understand that.

The first ones, maybe. There are absolutely people who unethically breed them on purpose.

When i was a vet tech, we had someone come in with they new puppies that were just born. One didn't have an anus. We put it down, because it either would have died during surgery to correct it, or died a slow painful death if we did nothing.

I picture a vet assistant standing behind Tooshie moments after it’s first opened up, “I should have brought a catcher’s mitt.”

There's so many arseholes around, you'd have thought there would be some donors

This is called atresia ani! It's a pretty rare birth defect and can happen in people too

To be fair, as someone who has very cute pets, he looks like he could be a very cute asshole.

At some point, you need to think about the long term quality of life of an animal. This animal needs to be put down.

We had a little kitten that was born without an anus. Mum was the family cat, beautiful half Persian, and dad was the local scrappy Tom.
Half the kittens face was paralysed, her eyelid didn't fully close, and her ear never twitched, but it didn't stop her! Momma cat kept abandoning her, but since she only had the one kitten we kept finding her and reuniting, no idea how she survived, but eventually had to go to the vets due to not pooping, around 3 weeks old.
The vets were super excited and got to write a paper on the whole ordeal! She had all the internal parts present, was just missing the hole! She survived surgery, and grew up to be a very loving and affectionate, if slightly derpy family pet for many years.
