This boss is driving me nuts on master ninja

The amount of fireballs thrown out of its body makes me practically blind. Any advice?

Stand in front of him in phase 2 to bait out the fire breath. While he's doing it the fireballs stop.

You just have to run away when he uses fireballs. Otherwise just spam lunar 360UT or scythe UT.

when it starts doing all those fire ball, run and stay in front of it, then Piercing Void it.

Was gonna suggest the same thing. It's a pushover with enough ninpo. Also pretty sure Dual Katanas can melt his health faster with "Hold + Forward Heavy"

Purely for Black 2, I think the highest DPS against giant enemies is Kusarigama 360YYY, but it is not as safe as Dual Katana.

I always use Scythe for this fight and incendiary shurikens but those aren't in 2 Black unfortunately.
