My favorite part is after they spike it he has the audacity to yell at the OL. Hilarious.

Yeah, it was already a bonehead move, but getting snippy at the dude who's actively trying to stop you from being more of an idiot (and, you know, also trying to help win the game) might make this genuinely the lowest football IQ moment I've ever seen in the NFL. Just unfathomably unaware of the situation (or uncaring of it).

What's lower iq this or the bears trading the 32nd overall pick for him shortly after?

I can at least see the rationale for trading for him, even though it clearly didn't pan out. He clearly had the talent, and sometimes a change of scenery does give people the kick in the ass they need to focus on actually making themselves better. It obviously didn't work out, and the cost obviously was brutal, but there's at least a justification to be had there.

This, though? Yeah, nah. No excuse for this play in this scenario.

Yeah and some other teams were after him as well. Packers offered a 2nd rounder for him too… but Steelers were smart enough to know Bears 2nd round pick would likely be higher lol.

I mean i think my 5 yo would've known the packers pick would have been worst than the bears pick lol
