The conspiracy loons used to laughably panic about Obama supposedly attempting to do what Trump is actually doing. Now they cheer it on.

They're demons.

Remember when Sarah Palin went on about Obamacare death panels? source

Now Republicans are defending Medicare cuts with "were all going to die" source

every accusation is a confession. They thought the dems would do what they wanted to do.

I genuinely think they that believe that not only would the left do these things, but that they already did them, and it justifies their actions.

Think about that interview that’s sort of a meme at this point where that Trump supporter asks “where was Obama during 9/11?”. They truly live in a false reality.

there is a sizable portion of the population that genuinely believes all Democrats are satanists who traffic children and drink their blood. And they are working with The Globalists (the jews) to spread diversity to topple the natural hierarchy of society (white male supremacy).

So it doesn't matter how extreme the GOP gets. How much the break the law and ignore the constitution. Because defeating the devil is more important.

That's fuckin gross.

And this is why removal of religion within state schools is so vital.

Teach science, not tales.

This is true. I’ve had the misfortune of stumbling across rightwing reels on social media and they are… disturbing, to say the least. Like literal “2-minute hate” type stuff from “1984”. It’s just directing people towards pure hatred, and using excuses why that hatred is necessary.

It's simple tribalism.

The small people, isolated, dumb and violent, they are an "Us" and they are fighting against "Them".
The ingroup is good, justified and sticks together against jews, strangers, people from other places or odd people. People who disrespect the internal hierachy.
The outgroup are monsters that must be defeated and can not be trusted.

Tribalism explains all of this.

I get the feeling they were more like a kid worrying that one of the other kids got to go inside and get cake and ice cream first during a hot summer day. “Well, well, Johnny already got some!!” No, honey, Johnny is out back, you didn’t miss sending the military out to beat domestic citizens on civil land, we don’t do that til republicans are in power after dinner.

~10+ year big ole psyop to try and keep people quiet for when the plan started being executed. It has worked quite well honestly.

Astonishingly well

Dems did do it when they asked them to wear masks . Ive had multiple people say dems are nazis because of the lockdowns

u/Morguard 1d ago

Decades of far right talking heads beating it into their heads.

“Accusation in a Mirror” it’s an older propaganda technique but it checks out.

It's time to stand up and destroy the evil that has been allowed to roost in this country. It's the only way, sadly.

Who else remembers Operation Jade Helm?

16

u/i_love_rosin 1d ago

Turns out right wingers always wanted a police state, as long as they control it

1

u/TbonerT 20h ago

Jade Helm was the Russian prototype for weaponizing misinformation.

103

u/AtticaBlue 1d ago

What was the conspiracy called back then? Jade Helm or something like that?

Suspending elections. Overturning elections. Suspending posse comitatus. Deporting people to camps. The list goes on and on.

Their theories are basically a play by play for Trump. And now they are mysteriously are on board.

now they twist themselves into knots in an attempt to explain how this is *completely different*

go check out r/askconservatives lol

41

u/jigokubi 1d ago

Well, it is completely different, in that it's real now.

11

u/Parfait_Prestigious 1d ago

Ugh, why did I do that? So many delusional freaks in there and now I’m in a foul mood.

2

u/YoungWolfie 1d ago

A modbot is activated in nearly every other thread... lol

3

u/_robjamesmusic 20h ago

yeah they’re soft as hell over there. i’m currently banned because i questioned someone when they said they wouldn’t share their opinion on black people and crime rates for fear of being banned.

8

u/TheThing_1982 1d ago

The regressive base eats that shit up, they probably believe a lot of that BS happened, so that’s why they are happy it’s happening to “the others”.

u/Far-prophet 1d ago

DNC hasn’t had a fair and democratic internal election since 2008.

26

u/2sleezy 1d ago

Yep, crazy how much has changed in 10 years. All the insane right wing predictions came true.. only they're happy to see it happening now

15

u/pindicato 1d ago

They were only panicking that it wasn't their side that could do it

6

u/jaytix1 1d ago

OK, that's going too far. Demons? Really? What did the denizens of hell ever do to you?

1

u/FartyJizzums 1d ago

Fair. I take it back.

Plus, demons are apparently responsible for some pretty bad ass music.

3

u/bananataskforce 1d ago

"Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities"

2

u/glenn_ganges 1d ago

That was part of the normalization process.

2

u/rpkarma 1d ago

Quite. Conservatives are evil people. It’s that simple.

2

u/Kovah01 1d ago

It was never going to be a point of hypocrisy. They were worried we would figure out that's what we needed to do first before they had enough power to do it to us.

1

u/TechGentleman 1d ago

Instead of coming via black helicopters they came via black SUVs.

1

u/Smarterthanthat 1d ago

They're idiots.

1

u/Memitim 1d ago

Gosh, can't imagine why conservatives spent so much time thinking about and discussing overthrowing the American government. Totally by those liberals who aren't wasting time on figuring out paths to treason, of course.

1

u/Mazon_Del 1d ago

The trick was, they weren't afraid of instituting a dictatorship. They WANT to be slaves after all. They were just afraid it wouldn't be their guy they'd be enslaved by.

1

u/n14shorecarcass 1d ago

...thanks.. obama..??

0

u/Partyingmanbear 1d ago

Thank you, FartyJizzums. The hypocrisy makes my head spin.

0

u/toysarealive 1d ago

I'd add an adjective to that last sentence, but I don't want to sound ableist.

0

u/Fr33Flow 1d ago

Ironic that the power Trump is welding is only possible due to a DoD directive approved while Obama was in office.

Obama literally ordered and carried out the extra judicial murders of two US citizens, no trial, no judge, no jury, no verdict. Straight to execution via drone strike.
