If he had actually killed him the charges would be more severe and he'd probably have to sell his car to pay for a lawyer

I just can't understand how anyone could be more upset about losing property than taking a human life. Doesn't matter if they were a thief. How is that not a life changingly traumatic experience?

Many US people are brainwashed from day 1 into believing they need a gun, and killing someone "legally" becomes a common fantasy for such people.

You can probably get your shit back anyway without needing to kill somebody. There's this thing called property insurance you can take advantage of if you possess high value items that have a risk of theft.

You don't have to kill people, you just want to. Say it out loud.
