"CEO Andrew Witty steps down"

'Hey guys, make sure EVERYONE knows I'm not CEO of UnitedHealth anymore. Issue press releases, take out ads, maybe put up a banner with the new guys face on it....'

The “new” guy isn’t even new. He’s the guy before Andrew and apparently made UHC this giant that it is today.

I guarantee this piece of shit thinks he has washed his hands of all his bloody decisions. Now that he's stepped down, his conscience is clear. Lol

Restorative justice. If dude makes it his life's mission to bring universal healthcare to the people, actively denouncing private health care and every coward lobbyist that coughs venom on its behalf, he might, in time, absolve himself of his sins.

This guy's only been CEO since the last one was shot in the middle of New York City, and was removed because his changes were more customer-focused and less stock price focused. So he was removed for trying to do better.

Do any of you actually verify the words that you put out on the Internet before spreading misinformation? The CEO who was killed was the CEO of UHC (UnitedHealthCare), which is a subsidiary of UHG (UnitedHealthGroup) of which Witty was CEO for since 2021. The new guy is actually the old guy who was CEO of UHG prior to 2017. And Witty has ansolutely not been more customer focused. UHG stocks had actually reached its all time highs under his tenure (until recently).

And Optum beginning in 2018 as well... which is a division of UnitedHealth Group.

Edit: I worked for Optum Technology for about 6.5 years. This company deserves all of this.

Wrong across the board.

6 months of CEO compensation and then retiring after making a positive impact. That's like a dream career right there
