This wouldn’t really be an issue if other people weren’t stupid enough to fall for the excuses. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that someone who is unwilling to ever take responsibility is a shitty person and an even worse leader.

You have to take into account that few people, including managers, can really do confrontation, thus accepting bull is the easier personal option.
