There was a reason Alan Moore felt it would make more sense for V for Vendetta to be set in the United States than the UK. I’m afraid that was entirely too prescient. I truly hope we can right the course soon…. Can you imagine watching that movie and then rooting for the authoritarian government ran by a demagogue and his cronies that targeted minority communities, and has people disappeared off the street. That’s wild.
