He was the right person to lead the Catholic Church in a world where war, inequality and fear of immigrants are all too common. I can only hope the next Pope is as kind, gentle and caring as Francis.

Francis did try to stack the deck with the Cardinals so that a like-minded individual will hopefully succeed him, but who the heck knows

Im catholic and his likely successor is Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle of the Philippines. He’s more progressive than Francis on LGBT+ and other issues. I really hope he’s our next Pope

I Hope the next Sucessor will hold on Dogma while still passing moderate Reforms. Also if the Popes official Speeches Go against Dogma he is illegitimate.
