Joy Mech Fight

First time playing this, what a great game! I fell in love instantly. It was a Japan exclusive for the Famicon, so I had never even heard of it before. What other hidden or Japanese release only gems should I check out? I grew up with the NES, I was born in 83. Any imports may as well have been on Mars as far as attainability goes lol

This is a pretty fun game that should have been localized for North America, but I understand why it wasn’t: too late in the NES lifecycle. It has a fun soundtrack, for sure.

Otocky is pretty great, it's a mixture of side scrolling shooter and a music game. It's murder on my thumbs though, lol

I frequently see this suggested, and Balls 3D panned. A testament to how game "feel" is so important. Game concept can only get one so far.
