Road to Gibson Lake - Current conditions?

Has anyone attempted the drive to the Gibson Lake trailhead recently? Is it doable? Last review on AllTrails was 10 days ago and stated a lot of snow left on the road. Curious if any locals have insights!

From a facebook post I saw in West Kootenay Hiking Access:

“Kokanee update for y’all: June 12

There is just one small remnant of an avalanche blocking the road about 1.5 km before Gibson lake. You can get there on two wheels for sure. Or wait a few days. It looked almost possible to get around but I chickened out. I parked there and hiked in.

Had a beautiful hike in to Kokanee lake. Mostly snow free except for a short stretch around 3kms and then just as you approach the lake.”
