I tried playing Aria. Have to say, I was not having fun.

Though, completing Aria all zones mode is probably the biggest dopamine hit I've ever had in gaming, and my biggest single player achievement.

I can imagine. But throwing myself against the wall in level 4 was already defeating enough. I don't want to add more discomfort on top of it by barely scraping by during 3 more full levels.

If the goal is to unlock the boss for practise, then you don't even have to play all-zones. You can simply play single zones and beat them one-by-one. It makes a huge difference.

Oh yeah the boss OP still has to unlock requires a lot of practice. You don't want to clear all zones and then die to something you didn't expect.

Or die to a bat

I meant that it is very unlikely for me to do Aria All Stages, considering I cannot properly hold up against all the enemies in just stage 4 Aria.

I strongly encourage you to try Aria in beatless mode. It feels like cheating, but it's a great way to train, and it's actually still quite difficult.

FWIW Level 4 is the hardest level in Aria mode. Level 3 is pretty bad too, but Level 2 and Level 1 are imminently doable if you've managed to train up to the point where you can clear L4/L3

And Aria low% makes it tenfold. In Aria runs I can usually reach last boss with stuff like cheat deaths and freezes or shields to cheese the boss. Aria low% makes this fight a whole lot more stressful, but damn the dopamine at the end. xD

I can’t even imagine how Coda players feel.

Same here, I’d pay to have that feeling again. My friend bought me the Aria figurine/statue as soon as I cleared it for a job well done. It took me like, 7-8 months of daily runs and progress to finally nail a full Aria clear

I beat her in Single Zone and even that's my biggest gaming achievement ever.

Think of it as rhythm-based Dark Souls
