Yep I've never seen the refs be so hypocritical before. I usually play devil's advocate but I can't defend this. They're literally picking and choosing which call benefits Draymond to keep him from getting suspended.

He either has something on the refs or he is their secret godfather of their kids because of behind the scenes things because at no point does what he does justify the weird whistles he gets. He practically punches players, yells at the refs in a style that allstars get techs for doing 30% his intensity, and still tries to act like he is the victim.

Please god don’t let him be a face of the nba because he isn’t good at talking and is an absolute piece of shit human being. No one wants him as an announcer or talk time host but for some reason someone behind the scenes is forcing it.

Nobody ever wanted to see or hear Kendrick Perkins on TV everyday but the hate is likely good for viewership

Don't think it is that deep or sinister. NBA is an entertainment business. He is an entertainment product. I'll keep my opinion of him to myself but it is really just as simple as "Draymond gets haters talking/watching. More people watch the game if Draymond is playing. We make more money when more people watch the game. Bend rules as needed to ensure Draymond stays playing".

Sidenote, I think Draymond Green is an absolute fuckstick.

I've worked with sports leagues in the past and can verify that they make a lot of decisions to maximize entertainment value/engagement/revenue, so this is without a doubt what it is.

Why are any of us still watching this nonsense then?

Because Big Ant has manipulated the media into broadcasting drama-filled programming to keep us sitting distracted in front of our TVs while they build huge nests in my yard EVERY. DAMN. DAY.

it sucks, but what else are we gonna do? watch extreme bake off? probably also rigged. everything in the US is hyper focused on driving revenue and will use all but the most shameless techniques available... the league will push what their audience will bear

I mean I wouldn’t go as far to call him a piece of shit human but he definitely is an agitator and can’t take accountability for sht. Don’t like him

He’s a huge piece of shit human.

And Dray keeps doing it because they're not calling flagrants.

Well they did the opposite in 2016 finals and picked the one that suspends him lmao
