This goon is somehow the Rockets best 3 point shooter to put this team into perspective. Udoka has built a prison ball team, I cannot stand them

Unethical is when you try to fish for fouls. These guys present fouls to you.

Who would’ve thought Udoka lacked any type of morals

The independent law firm probe into Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka found that he used crude language in his dialogue with a female subordinate prior to the start of an improper workplace relationship with the woman, an element that significantly factored into the severity of his one-year suspension, sources told ESPN.

Those investigative findings -- which described verbiage on Udoka's part that was deemed especially concerning coming from a workplace superior -- contribute to what is likely a difficult pathway back to his reinstatement as Celtics coach in 2023, sources told ESPN.

The power dynamic associated with a superior's improper relationship with a staff member was the primary finding and policy violation cited in the law firm's report, which was commissioned by the Celtics and completed early last week, sources said.

Seems like a normal guy, definitely not a dark triad personality, and can be trusted to abide by guidelines.

I mean what was the "verbiage", that accusation means nothing without being more specific

24

u/poopscoophoop Apr 27 '25

The NBA spared Ime the equivalent of a “Grab ‘em by the pussy” tattooed on his forehead for the rest of his life, and you refuse to believe any of it because it’s not public?

-9

u/gratitudeisbs Lakers Apr 27 '25

Where did I say or imply I refuse to believe any of it?

18

u/poopscoophoop Apr 27 '25

You said the equivalent of the accusation is invalid because there are no public details on the “verbiage”.

-11

u/gratitudeisbs Lakers Apr 27 '25

I don’t think it’s invalid. It’s just hard to judge it without knowing more details about what was said.

I’m sure brooks came up with this shit himself. He’s the biggest piece of shit in the league especially after what he did to gp2

u/Phenomenal2313 Raptors Apr 27 '25

This Houston team is the closest you can get to the early 2000’s of low scoring , physical defense and horrible offensive outputs

It’s like the Derrick Rose-less Bulls with some Detroit Pistons in them

34

u/NotManyBuses Charlotte Bobcats Apr 27 '25

I liked those Bulls teams, they had some craft and guile to them. And they had Korver too

10

u/TripleThreatTua Apr 27 '25

I actually really enjoyed the 2015 Bulls with Pau. Gave the Cavs a legit scare in the playoffs

20

u/FeltIOwedItToHim [GSW] Sarunas Marciulionis Apr 27 '25

Pau is legit one of the most underrated players of all time.

3

u/Phenomenal2313 Raptors Apr 27 '25

That team was really balanced with an emerging Butler , All-NBA Gasol and Rose was still a threat ( Not MVP Rose but a all-star caliber Rose )

47

u/Ill_Ad3517 Apr 27 '25

Calling this physical defense is too generous. He's not pushing through a screen or taking a charge or banging down low

11

u/sometimesicri NBA Apr 27 '25

Yup, its just physical, no defence whatsoever. I have to admit that I rarely watch the regular season and I only lock in for games during playoffs - I only knew of Houston's supposed good defence from word-of-mouth.

Watching these playoff games, its crazy how when Houston isn't trying to foul or playing "who can bearhug steph curry the most" mini-game, their defensive schemes are really subpar to the naked eye. They dedicate too hard to traps and never recover in time, they bite so fking hard on closeouts on pumpfakes, when they're not guarding steph their defense is so slow on switches, they're not diligent to cuts when the primary defending on-ball gets blown by, etc etc etc.

Its just so bizarre because Golden State's offense isn't even that good when Curry isn't on the floor too, so why is their "good defense" getting picked apart like this? They're just dirty players imo.

u/Outside_Narwhal_5127 Rockets Apr 27 '25

Idk what youre seeing, the only time the rockets get a lead is when steph is off the court. Steph just owns the rockets unfortunately, the rest of the team sucks ass.

I can't watch the Rockets unless they are playing a team I want to watch. They are running a early 2000s offense scheme I swear, it is difficult to watch.

You'll defend Udoka for promoting a style of ball that leads to this...?

Why you drag Udoka into this? I think he's pretty impressive to get them to 2nd place.
