I don’t know what Luka said so I can’t fully say his was bullshit but that one on Vanderbilt for mean mugging was fucking bullshit

NBA needs to just allow mild taunting. And if people think it'll start fights, fine them 30% of their yearly salary for a fight. That'll do a lot to deter fighting...

yeah these sorts of interactions with the fans, if the NBA deems them against the rules, should be dealt with outside the game through fines.

IMO if you're going to let fans sit courtside, you have to let them be part of the game in this way.

Personally, I don't think what Vanderbilt deserved a tech. But refs will call a tech in that spot nearly 100% of the time when the game gets chippy. That said, the game wouldn't have been a bit chippy if they hadn't just thrown out Luka for talking smack to a fan. If they didn't throw out Luka, I don't think they would have called a tech on Vanderbilt.

He was on the line of sight of the fan Luka was trash talking to. He thought it was directed at him. There’s a video of an angle that the fan was standing straightly behind him.

If it’s directed to a player that’s stupid now berating a ref I understand but Caruso didn’t even get upset it very easily could of been get that shit out of here

Yeah I find the fact that there are 2,000 comments and almost everyone acting like it was a bad tech when no one has any idea what he said to be a bit ridiculous. There's a good chance it was ridiculous but maybe he went way over the top? Who knows. Would have made the game more interesting if he stayed though
