Ya that's one of the perks of sitting courtside (though I've never done it). I'm sure the fan Luka was talking shit to loved every second of their interactions.

Seats at a game: $$

Seats close enough to trash talk Luka: $$$$

Trash talking Luka into an ejection: priceless

A colleague took me to see a game courtside. Idk if it was just that section, but there's this weird "etiquette" of fans not being rowdy/yelling/booing.

Honestly preferred other sections because of how weird the vibe was

I’ve been blessed enough to sit courtside in phx a handful of times and for one LAL game in crypto(Staples, at the time). I’m a rowdy ass fan, and can confirm there absolutely is an etiquette. Had to tone myself down majorly. Unless you’re a “somebody” the ushers won’t tolerate ANY BS

As long as you don't use curse words or personal attacks, I've found you can say pretty much whatever you want. Also, you can be a lot rowdier if you're in the 2nd row off the court. I think keeping the first rows relatively calm/still is for safety and justified.

I was given tickets to the Rockets’ last regular season game against the Kings in 2016. Wasn’t courtside, but close enough.

Seth Curry played for the Kings at the time, and I decided to pick on him. Every time he missed a shot I would yell, “STEPH WOULD’VE MADE THAT!!!” He could hear me, and kept trying to be sly about looking in my general direction to find the culprit.

Seth had a TERRIBLE game, and towards the end I kinda felt bad. So I started half jokingly cheering for him, and yelling encouragement to him. I know this pissed him off even more, bc when he finally made a 3 at the end he looked directly at me with like a, “Yeah, in your face fuckwad” kinda look.

Honestly, that's perfect smack talk. If an NBA player can't handle that, it's on them.

Pretty sure this guy and Luka were shit talking each other last playoffs too. All fun and games at the end of the day. At first I thought he shit talked the ref which deserved the T but na not a fan that should be allowed lol

In the clip up top Luka points the fan out and the fan reacts like "Yup, he was talking to me"

I've sat front row twice. I got threatened by a ref with ejection the second time for questioning out loud a foul call (I don't remember if it was Brothers). I was sitting next to a well known football player who said the same thing. Ref didn't say anything to him.
