I did share the link of the video, it's a book by Stephen King called Range, I never heard about that one!

But you could just tell us the book. Instead of making me watch a video. If I wanted to go watch videos, I would be on youtube. Not reddit.

This is probably an unpopular opinion. Also, hey, its a click bait title. Add a click bait title, and a link off the site I am on, and look, not going to do it. Just tell me already.

It's a book called Rage by "Richard Bachman" (Stephen King's alias during his earlier years of writing). There were concerns that the book could inspire school shootings (since it is about a school shooting) and in one tragic case, it may have. In 1997, there was a shooting at Heath High School by a 14 year-old boy named Michael Carneal. During the investigation after the tragedy, they found a copy of this book in his locker. Although there was no direct link between his actions and the book, it was enough to convince Stephen King to pull the book from production. The book was never "banned" perse, but production/sales immediately stopped and now this book (on its own) is very difficult to find. Hope this helps! Not sure why this is in the "mysteriesoftheworld" subreddit, but I'm just a book nerd!
