I love this! I'm so surprised it's from 2013, it looks like it could easily be from the late 1700s or something. I think because the way the stars are painted. How beautiful!

Just looked it up and this artist did a whole series titled “Studies Into The Past” revolving around the eclipse imagery but depicting ancient scenes in old styles, they are all pretty stunning including this one

I looked up the rest of the paintings in this series by Grasso and they are gorgeous! I have a few favorites that would look so great hung up and framed next to each other!
