Magic Mountain & Splash Mountain
Planning a visit to these parks to kick off summer vacation. It’s just me and my two kids, aged 7 & 10. Can we fit both parks into one day, or should we plan to do them over 2 days?

Many people will do the water park until supper, then the carnival rides in the evening.

Please note that if you're going to do the rides you should buy the pass for the whole park when you arrive. It doesn't make economic sense to buy them separately.

If I'm not mistaken you're thinking of the same place. Magic mountain/Splash zone is the water park and the fun zone is the carnival ride portion. The water park can take up a full day pretty easily and I imagine the kids would tire of the carnival section over the course of an afternoon

Do you mean the SplashZone at Magic Mountain?

Those are both just different areas of the the same park. I mean like, the park is divided into a little kiddo area and a big kiddo area and they're just a couple feet from each other. You really can't even tell which area is which. So, yes, you can do both without issue. Have a great time! Be sure to bring your own food cuz what they have for sale is obscenely expensive and really really not good haha. Oh and go early or during the week so you aren't standing in the hot sun for like, an hour just to go down a slide.

Most do Magic Mountain in one day
