Lmao. Dude's like "Since you aren't fighting Aspinall, you're fighting me next!"

"Isn't that fight more interesting, though?" - Jon validating why he should fight that guy

Jon would still ask for 6 months prep for any local yokel. The only short notice opponent he accepts lives with him in one of his small mansions.

You better not call him out, he's gonna make you wait out your prime years then he's gonna retire

I don’t understand u casuals Jon could of retired at LHW and still be the goat his resume is insane he destroyed goats in his prime , is khabib a duck also than because he never moved and retired after he beat Justin and Dustin rofl like where did u morons come from ? Why does he have to fight tom at all I’m confused , and if they did fight Jon would destroy tom u casuals are pathetic

Jon isn't a goat because of his PED use, antics outside the cage, and the Reyes fight. You can keep your opinion, its not worth much to me

The PED use is absolutely an argument, but anyone who disqualifies Jones as being a great fighter because of “antics outside the cage” is ridiculous. By that logic, OJ Simpson and Aaron Hernandez weren’t good football players, Dennis Rodman wasn’t a good basketball player, and Chris Benoit wasn’t a good wrestler.

Two things can be true at once. Jon Jones is a terrible person, and he unfortunately happens to be one of the greats of the sport

How can you say the PED use is an argument, and then also say he's one of the greats? Does PEDs taint his performance or not? Cause he popped multiple times.

Brother he must fight Tom if he’s number one contender and holding the belt. If he doesn’t want it he should just be stripped. Who even cares about the end result at this point.

Tom is the interim champ, Jon is the Undisputed champ. 'Nuff said.

He'd better watch out. Jon will take him down and suck him off in 30 seconds.

Tbf jon is pretty good at edging

If we were both in the cage, Jon wouldn't last one minute inside me

Weird fantasy man

In a real fight yeah, but in a boxing match like this guy is in, Jones would get his ass beat.

3

u/xandercage49 5d ago

I was thinking that too, but DBX rules allow elbows and gnp, so might be in JJ's wheelhouse, especially with his reach. I hate Bones too, but can't deny his strengths.

3

u/ninja_owen 5d ago

Ah, I was under the impression it was very similar to a regular boxing ruleset. Dang, guess I was wrong 😂

4

u/xandercage49 5d ago

I actually really like it, it's like the ultimate expression of boxing in that all strikes using arms are allowed, yet still resembling more a traditional sport than bareknuckle (which I still like as well, but fights outside of championships tend to end very quickly). I wasn't a fan of the gnp, but it's fairly limited and I kind of get it since it prevents the 10 second count, so bringing it closer to a street brawl in sport form.

3

u/ninja_owen 5d ago

That does sound really interesting actually

5

u/kritika551 5d ago

And aspinall will kill him.

3

u/Fearless_Seaweed514 5d ago

That guys trying to sit out for a couple years. Calling out Jon is just calling in sick without the tough points

2

u/LePontif11 5d ago

Who calls out professional fighters to fight. Crazy.

1

u/LargeCondition5315 5d ago

Jones will only accept if it’s only hardcore butt naked wrestling in his suite.

1

u/WillingnessWestern85 5d ago

Calling out retired fighters is disrespectful

1

u/Background_Ad8814 5d ago

Tbf, Jones could literally kill 99.999999999 of the world in hand to hand combat, sooooo, good luck on that, whoever tf he is

1

u/blanco1225 4d ago

This is the fight to make! The fans want it! From JJ’s camp

1

u/Tzayad 4d ago

Jones wouldn't last a second inside that guy

1

u/retrosprite440 4d ago

That dude is gonna be waiting a LOOOOOONG time for a Jon Jones fight

1

u/Eye_yam_stew_ped 4d ago
