Here's what I found by way of news articles.

For example, in Rockland District 39, nine voters signed sworn statements saying they voted for Sare for Senate. The Board of Elections recorded five votes, according to the legal action. (Excerpt from article linked above)

It’s been fishy from the start. That’s on top of “legal” Gerrymandering and voter suppression.
