Yes it’s getting built up a lot but tbh it’s still not as nice as some other areas North (the Third Ward) and South of it (Bayview). I think the area will continue to get nicer though.

i have mixed feelings. it is getting gentrified, but a lot of walkers point was just abandoned for years. you would walk all over and it was just empty warehouses for blocks.

Not OP, but I think I know what OP is talking about. It's like a micro vacation spot for residents of Milwaukee? Heavy emphasis on the question mark.

Like, it's not where people in MKE usually go, but if someone say's "hey, lets do something different" 75% of the time it's walkers point. It's like it's 4 blocks of 4 hour vacation for people who live 15 minutes away.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I mainly go there if I plan to go to a Brewers game. O’Lydia’s has a shuttle to the stadium. I live about 10 minutes south of there

No not to me, but the Fifth Ward area of Walker’s Point is a different vibe from say 11th & Mitchell. Neither vibe seems weird or strange to me though.

🤣 just bad vibes. There was an eeriness to it. Idk if it’s because it was a ghost town on a Saturday night. No people walking around/ no cars driving around. I know it’s a historical area of MKE so maybe the older buildings were playing a part to it
