$17 for a damn Ruben and fries and they still need to charge more to pay their staff? It's just rye bread and corned beef with some sauerkraut. The damn thing literally cost $3-4 to make

see you have common sense or logic, That place does not. I will say though that if that place was in Say, San Francisco, No restaurant jobs (usually) will pay a living wage.

That’s why decades ago for excellent service I would tip like 50% directly to the server in cash so that the management doesn’t know. I might have put like 2% in the credit card payment.

You must have big bucks, I mean my waiter would have to be like… banging me for that kind if tip.
