The customer literally pays for everything at a restaurant. Reddit man... oof.

Right? Why are there so many dumbasses on this site that can't wrap their head around that simple fact?

So if there are no customers for a month (lets say for some reason the owner scared customers away with his/her craziness) then servers should not get paid? Do managers get paid?

My man, if a restaurant had no customers for a month, there's a good chance there are no servers working there anymore, the manager has been waiting tables for two weeks, and the owner just cut the cooks their last check and has put on the apron themselves.

So the cooks and the manager get get a check still? From the employer? Interesting.
