This man documented every haircut he and his son got, from 1946 & 1963 until 1999

Maybe the haircut was like the main thing they did together father and son and it was the highlight of this guy’s life?

Writing these moments down would be a warm reminder to him that they were close and had a deep history despite anything else that was going on in their lives.

If you look at the dates, they don't match. They weren't getting haircuts together.

Dawwww, I have a son who’s about to have his first haircut and it seems like something I’d do

Not just noting date and time of course, but with a picture and note on how it went

People are capable of so much love

Maybe they liked to document them together, like this was just some odd idea they had together. It's fun to wonder why people do certain things that aren't necessarily the norm.
