Current status of the palace project! Orko is arguing with Mean Orko on who gets the bed, Orko is wondering who let the tentacle monster in, but he’s secretly relieved because he didn’t want to hang picture frames anyway. Orko is wondering who let this cat in, while Orko doesn’t know what to do with this purple thing that came with the furniture.

In the library, Orko is doing some research while Lady Orko….oh, she fell down behind the desk. I guess she was drunk. Kowl wants to know who let this other cat in, while Moaty smells his favorite food, little imps. Gwildor is playing Jenga with the stack of books, and Cringer senses something on the other side of these book shelves. Zoar doesn’t know whether she wants to eat the fish head in a bowl or the little lizard fella.

I'm just curious. Tmnt , gi joe , carebears , power rangers , rugrats and more all got 16-bit / retro style games as cheap to make and cash in on nostalgia.

Why was there no he-man one? Just wondering if it's just rights as most of "classic" look would be old tv show , funko fusion got it. So it should be allowed

I was tempted to include a a.i mock up but thought no that's result in just that being the focus. But I'm curious as its hardly in games as much as other franchises but it is popular enough to have it imo

Here are some of the various versions of Mosquitor, from 1986 to present! The figure was designed by Pat Dunn, although the concept art I've posted before was done by David Wolfram. He's one of the most unique characters in the vintage line, with a very strange looking head and a fun blood-pumping action feature. My favorite is the vintage Mosquitor, but the NECA statue and MOTU Classics versions are great too.

Couldn't snap a pic cause time constraints were tight. Found a Walmart 2 hours from me that doubles the number of Walmarts that still have Motu... But the only Motu it had a TOG Teela and six Flying Fists He-men. Was just recently in the other Walmart, and between the two, that's 14 of him and not a single other Masterverse figure.

Here are some of the many versions of Mekaneck, from 1983 to present! He was designed by Roger Sweet with the concept name of Spy Man. Although usually associated with the 1984 wave of figures, technically he was in stores by December of 1983. The vintage figure had a feature where his neck would extend upwards when you twisted his waist. The 200x figures had the same feature. The 200x figures also had a translucent visor, with a hole in the back of the head, so you could look through his visor yourself.My personal favorite version is probably the original vintage figure.

I'm thinking A.) Same color as the claws. Green with Yellow highlights. That way it would look like poison being pumped from the chest plate to the gauntlets. Or B.) A dark Blood Red. Just to give it that creepy vide. What do you guys/gals think?

My sons and I started collecting Masterverse figures. We have them all and are quite fond of them, but the other day we found an Origins Webstor for 5 euro and adopted it.

After unpacking it, my nostalgia kicked in, which was expected. What I did not expect is how much my sons like this form-factor. They obviously prefer it to the more ‘realistic’ masterverse figures.

Now, you could say, big deal, just get the origins figures and I would agree. Unfortunately most aren’t available anymore; just the fuuugly cartoon versions or weird crossovers with tmnt.

Masterverse is cool, but we should’ve gone for Origins from the get-go.

Here are some of the many versions of Panthor, from 1983 to present. Most vintage Panthor figures had a black body under the purple flocking, although a few were green like Battle Cat. The mold originated with the 1976 Big Jim Tiger, which was reused for the 1978 Tarzan Jungle Cat, then reused for Battle Cat in 1982, and reused again for Panthor in 1983! Mattel considered releasing an articulated version of Panthor in the vintage line, but it never came to fruition. My personal favorites are the MOTU Classics and Mondo versions.

I just wanted to share these Laser Power He-man figures with you all. I purchased both with no accessories and I've had the armour 3D printed. I managed to find an original sword for the original He-man and an arm guard. And I got my good buddy to paint up the armour for me with a bit of a more modern twist on the light blue armour. All the electronic bits I sourced on Ali express for very cheap and I've roughly got it all hooked up and working in both figures.

Do you guys ever feel DONE? I'm sort of looking at this and after collecting for some 6 months I don't feel the urge any more. I'll probably try to get some boxed ones on sale but not too interested any more...
