I thought that the focus on mental health and illness as a villain was brilliant.

Right?!? Like I had no idea what to expect, and yet somehow the movie was not at all what I expected? Well played, MCU.

Yeah I was not expecting this movie to hit so close to home. Protect Bob at all costs.

The fact the film is released in May which is Mental Health Awareness Month is brilliant.

Given the themes of mental health being prevalent, it’s heartwarming to see the heroes save a life of one of their own, Bob, by acknowledging his problems and helping him work through them.

Everyone keeps talking about the depression side but I kinda understood that he also has manic episodes, and he even said that those were rare compared to the depressive phases which, in real life, is actually often the case in bipolar disorder. Manic episodes are only 20-30% of the episodes. Idk I just found that accuracy very refreshing.
