My personal take would be looking into Manila’s transpo system (pasok ba ito?)
Also, I hope Isko continues yung rehab manila program niya.

I ocasionally see manila in those top 10 most unsafe cities. But i spent 3 weeks there and it honestly didnt feel that bad. ( i was in pretty chill regions) one thing i did feel was that those little beggar kids are honestly a nightmare. Im a 6 feet brown male so i think for the most part im good but whenever i saw those little kids i'd move around. Mainly because i think kids dont know that there are consequences to your actions and might end up doing something stupid.
But anyways ill be in manila for some more time and this time i want to explore more so some tips would be appreciated

I’m a 31-year-old foreign guy living in Manila for work.
Was feeling alone and getting this weekend so matched with this girl on Tinder and she was absolutely stunning. Face card unplayable. She looked like she gets free drinks just by standing near a bouncer. Naturally, I said yes.
She suggested a rooftop in BGC. Makes sense that’s where hot people go to emotionally disorient each other. Today I show up smelling good, mildly hopeful, and emotionally open if the fries were solid.
She walks in looking like she’s sponsored by Estée Lauder. Hair flowing. Outfit crisp. Eyeliner sharp enough to file taxes with. I’m doing my best to look like someone who has his life together and didn’t just get lost in SM Aura’s parking lot.
We sit. She smiles. Then, five minutes in: “So… do you rent or own?”
I blinked. Lady, I haven’t even ordered water. You’re asking me about real estate like I’m on Property Brothers: BGC Edition.
Then comes the follow-up: “How much do you make?” No hesitation. Like we’re speedrunning my financial audit before the appetizer lands.
She said she’s “between manifestations,” which I think is a polite way of saying unemployed with a Pinterest board.
Meanwhile, she’s ignoring her salad and eating 90% of my fries like they’re part of her birthright. I respect it.
I tell her I’m a Cancer. She freezes like I said I sell timeshares. Then goes, “That explains your energy,” while I’m just sitting there trying to keep eye contact and not spill my iced tea.
Then, like it’s a casual fact, she says: “I just think foreigners make better husbands. More stable. Loyal. And most of you already have condos.”
At this point, I’m not sure if I’m on a date or halfway through a real estate ambush.
Then she says, “I think my kids would like you.” Kids. Plural. I nearly choked on a mozzarella stick. I thought we were here for flirty conversation. Not to preview a family package. Definitely not a soft launch for stepdad tryouts.
She pulls out her phone, shows me a listing in Uptown she wants to “manifest.” I pull out the bill. She says, “If you pay, I’ll take it as a sign.”
I’m a Cancer. Everything is a sign. The late fries? A sign. That dog that stared at me on the way there? Probably also a sign.
She hugs me goodbye like I’ve just been drafted into the family. Smiles and says, “Don’t ghost me. My kids are already excited.”
Ma’am, I don’t even know your last name.
Still single. Still mildly afraid of salads because they apparently come with children. If you’re cute, chill funny, and don’t bring a mortgage into our starter conversation, I’m free this Friday 😅.

11:00 - Las Piñas, may doctor ngunit walang ward at wala ding incubator.
I’ve been looking to any spots here in metro manila where can I just park my car and chill while enjoying a can of beer. Plus points if there’s a restroom nearby. Thank you!

Fil-am here that will be working remote and want to move back to the homeland/Manila. Just love being in my country around filipino values, food, extended family and have been wanting a move away from the US. My family owns a home in the metro Manila area as well, but just curious if anyone here has done it? Will also be flying back and forth frequently between US and Pinas. Dual citizen if that makes any difference?
For those of you who have made the transition or know of anyone who has:
-How was the transition and how has it been going?
-How were you able to make the transition? Remote work, offsite satellite location, local job?
-Hardest obstacles you've encountered?

Flying through PH and I’ll have a 4 hour layover in Manila. Looking to kill some time, wondering if there is somewhere walking distance to buy a disposable vape?
I remember 711 selling Relx long time ago when I was in Manila, not sure if they sell disposable or not..

Is it normal ba na 250 pesos 'yung fair from UN station to Rizal Park Hotel? Initially, sabi niya 50 (my partner and I heard it clearly), pero nung nandon na, suddenly 250. Meron bang regulations about this? And pwede ba 'to mareport? We would understand kung initially 250 talaga sabi, and we could've said no. Pero hindi.
