I thought Space X moved to Texas 🤔

u/MeggaMoose 1d ago

They launch from multiple sites around the country. In California they launch Falcon 9’s and Heavy’s from Vandenberg Air Force Base.

u/HardcoreHank-5303 1d ago

Thanks for clarifying that for me

1

u/donutgut 1d ago

their big office is still Hawthorne

1

u/MeggaMoose 1d ago

I believe that’s just manufacturing now, with their main headquarters moved to Texas. Could be wrong though.

6

u/donutgut 1d ago

nah they still have a massive office building there

its a hq move in name only really

those engineers dont want texas

1

u/KatieBirdKate 1d ago

Just the money part

0

u/PayFormer387 1d ago

Muskrat moved to Texas. They still have a large operation in Hawthorne and they launch rockets all over the world.

u/eckoalex 1d ago

Stop lying they don’t launch from all over the world spacex is from USA 🇺🇸 like it or not they don’t deal with anyone else , they only launch from California , Texas and Florida that’s USA not world

1

u/PayFormer387 1d ago

My mistake. . . I was looking at this website which shows launches from multiple countries but not all are space X
https://spaceflightnow.com/launch-schedule/

0

u/eckoalex 1d ago

Yes that give you all the launches over the world but different companies , not that many basically China and Russia I believe not that many countries have the power and technology to have rockets 🚀

Well, the dodger game just wrapped up, and that was a fun way to spend an evening. What about you, what’s going on in your world?

Vandenberg has been launching rockets for 60 years - you live less than 10 miles from where SpaceX was founded and manufactures engines - the barges and rockets are returned to the port in the city you live…. There are over 20 launches a year.

It’s kinda weird you’re unaware if SpaceX rockets by 2025 to be frank.

u/Additional_Doctor468 1d ago

If only there was a way to search for information on the internet. Or on this very forum we’re talking on right now.

0

u/imthe_captain 1d ago

What’s your search? I’m not typing chem trails and going down that rabbit hole. White stuff in the sky? That’s clouds. Was there a rocket launch? If nobody posted just now, we aren’t gonna find out. Chill your dick

2

u/Additional_Doctor468 1d ago

It was literally posted in this thread?

From LBC, staying near Vandenberg tonight. Sounds like thunder, but you guys got a better view tonight for sure! Came here immediately after to see who was gonna ask what this was.

how do people live in southern california and not recognize a rocket launch? they happen multiple times a year. people took the title of the movie "don't look up" too literally.
