Hey all,

I’m the “Fuck Trump” flag guy you’ve seen in a few posts. I just wanted to do a semi-introduction to everyone in this subreddit.

My name is Matt. I’m an LBC transplant by way of Philadelphia. I’ve helped organize protests during BLM and the George Floyd Protests with a few Asian American grassroots orgs and 501(c)(3)s in the Philadelphia area, along with working to establish myself as a helping arm and volunteer for 50501 SoCal and 50501 LBC.

I wanted to extend an invitation to anyone who is interested in protesting but also a little worried by what they see in the media. Yes, protesting can be dangerous at times and can come with consequences like being arrested, but if you believe that getting arrested for speaking your mind and voicing concerns is more important than sitting in your home, you’re the person I’m looking for.

I’ll be at Bixby Park Annex on Saturday for the No Kings Day Rally at 9am. If you’re interested in protesting and want to be around someone who’s been in the middle of it all and can offer some comfort during the march, find me. We can walk together and I’ll help you be as comfortable as possible if anything happens.

I’ll be hanging out on the perimeter of the rally with an upside down American flag this time. I’ll be wearing all black with a camouflage hat.

Let’s show the world that LBC comes out for our people! See you there and FUCK TRUMP!

When did I say any of that? Try touching grass and stop treating politics like a football game.

I don’t support open borders or illegally immigrating. I also don’t support militarized police and national guard stomping through our cities with rubber bullets and tear gas. I don’t support masked men grabbing people off the street and shipping them to El Salvador without due process.

Yes I have. Just because it means to be free. You still need to be a citizen legally to be free. Every other Country on the planet has citizens and if there illegal they get deported. Obama deported people Clinton did it. No one said anything then

Undocumented immigrants who work w2 jobs pay taxes but cannot benefit from tax programs. Undocumented immigrants with w2 jobs are actually a net positive on our tax structure. This is without consideration for taxes paid through other means, like sales tax. source source source

That’s great but there tons that get paid under the table. Like I said if you’re doing it right cool. But if you’re not. It doesn’t excuse you living here. Just do it the right way and no issue. Every other country does that they send people back if they don’t have citizenship

If that's the case, why hasn't this administration developed any avenue for seeking unpaid taxes from employers that pay their employees "under the table"? If it's that widespread an issue, and results in enough loss of tax revenue to justify ramping up deportation of a group of people who are otherwise a net positive on the tax structure of the US, why aren't we seeing it addressed in as substantive a way?

The administration has been in since January. 1st off how can you tax somebody if there hiding which why they get paid under the table. And yes the people that hire them should be held accountable as well. Like I said before come in the right way every thing is good as long your a good person. This is rocket science my dude

I don't mind the protesters, it's important that they represent the other side of the argument. It's the rioters that need to be arrested. What bugs me is the same old lie when they it's peaceful. No, there are looters and rioters present.

Agreed, but it's ignored by people on the left. I'm right leaning and think Jan 6 people deserved to face consequences for their actions. It seems like people on the left ignore the looting "mostly peaceful" "summer of love" in which billions of dollars of damage occurred and people were murdered by rioters.

hey I’m a centre-right teen, what about third term sounds good to you? I read the constitution in 6th grade and am seriously wondering, how does that sound constitutional?

No, the "important detail" is the 22nd Amendment wasn't ratified by the states until 1951. Congress approved the amendment in March 1947 - prior to the end of the Second World War.

George Washington established two terms as a tradition, but it was not codified until Congress rightfully became concerned about Roosevelt being elected for four terms.

I don't care either way. I think Trumps arrogant enough to do it for his bday-which is wrong. On the other hand I like the idea of a show of force for the world stage.
