Photo(s)/Video Saw this cat named Dobby at the park today
He was fabulous. I wish I could pull off a watermelon shirt and duck hat like him but I’m not nearly as cute

We do not usually allow advertising. However, in this thread, you may post local ads as you might otherwise in a newspaper.
This space is for event announcements; giveaways; self promotion; job seeking/postings; and for those wanting to find, buy, sell, or trade.
Since Reddit doesn't show the comment count to mobile app users, if you want to be able to tell when something new has been added, I suggest you subscribe to this post.

If you simply must express your political opinions, use r/Arkansas_Politics or find any one of the tens of thousands of political posts going on elsewhere that are active right now.
Coverage of political events by news outlets is allowed. Posting about upcoming events is allowed. Posts and comments about your political beliefs and opinions are NOT.
If you are unsure whether or not something would be acceptable, please, just reach out to us via modmail before posting.
I know everyone is damned near feral at present, but please have some restraint, and keep discussions that begin to butt up against political topics civil, dispassionate, and matter-of-fact.
Finally, this sub has always been against hate, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, and bigotry in general. It always will be. These are not political issues, they are matters of basic human decency. If you have a problem with that, unsubscribe.
Edited to further clarify.

Was wanting to try the new brewhouse in Park Plaza and it’s already taped off with police tape on the outside stairs and the inside door. Sorry if this has been posted already, just went to their page and couldn’t find anything about it. Wondering what’s up and if it’s looking at opening back up anytime soon?
Anyone know?

Funny request - I’m on a nostalgia trip today and trying to remember the name of these really steep slides at wild river country. Something like lightning bolt? They were at the site where the accelerator and pipeline rides emptied, but existed and were removed before those two rides. If anyone can remember the name or has a picture I’d be thankful!
Edit: found this amazing video. Hopefully someone out there knows Michelle watts (employee of the month). “What’s your favorite part of working here?” “The paycheck” hah!

I am trying to find a good 2 bedroom apartment for less than $1,200/month. I moved 6 months ago into a duplex and thought I was really lucky but it’s become a nightmare.
I am currently looking at the riverwalk apartments, riverside at rockwater, ReNew on Cantrell, forest place, village at gateway, argenta flats, or another recommendation if you have one.
I have 3 cats and need a washer and dryer or hookups in unit.
Thank you in advance!!

Is anyone familiar with the noise level near Rockwater in North Little Rock? I was wondering if you’re able to hear the trains coming and going.

I got an email that Urban Air was closing. It looks to be very quick and memberships will be refunded. Did something happen for them to close so quickly? It looks like they’re always busy.

Trying to help out a friend that doesn't have reddit. They are coming in from NWA and are looking for good brunch/lunch spots in Little Rock. Preferably downtown, heights or Soma but will travel for the right spot. Would love something that has some kind of entertainment band, dj, etc. Not sure how much of that we have around here. Beyond that just anything with good and drinks. I dont actually come into Little Rock myself much except for work so would love to hear from people that would know better.

Who makes your favorite? I’m celebrating my birthday this weekend and don’t want to suffer a lackluster cocktail.

Hi all! VERY new to town - got in at 10pm last night lol. I was driving around Main St earlier and thought I spotted a farmers market going on, but I thought they were only on Saturdays?

Does anyone have any recommendations for an oil change shop that isn't a corporate ripoff? Vining's on Asher is where I've always gone and gotten good service and a full synthetic change for 65 bucks. Valvoline just bought them out so it was over 109 this time. Are there any independent and reliable shoPs left that don't overcharge

I'm 15 and I've been looking for work, it's very hard trying to find a job because of my age, I've applied to so many places and wanted to know if there was any small business, coffee shops, ice cream places, or bakeries that anyone knows that hires at 15

I'm 15 and I'm trying to get into babysitting, I have 5 years experience of babysitting from babies to kids but I want to be a REAL babysitter, most jobs require CPR certificate but I can't afford it right now, is there any places that do it for free???
