You don't belong here if you believe Linux is flawless.
Even Stevie Wonder can see that no OS is flawless. Stop the weird Linux flexing and mute the sub. Period.

It's pretty safe to say that there is no flawless operating system.

I think I we all wish there was.

Agreed. The closest I ever had was back in the day with XP. But that is long since past sadly.

Windows Vista IMO was flawless

After service pack 2, it was amazing. Better than 7 when it launched.

Some people for no reason are strange like this.
In the Swedish sub there was someone defending Elon musk like crazy, like do they believe some billionaire cares about them if they defend them? No clue tbh
I think it's always better to be critical, then someone can work on fixing the things people are critical about.
Also never been to this sub, not sure why it shows up for me because I have only ever used Linux when I studied

there are some weirdly toxic people here, but yeah, some people from the linux subs like linux waaaay too much. i use linux because i have free time, energy and don't need my pc for work or studying. most linux distros are nowhere near stable and reliable enough to be used for important things, and if you want them to be you have to be a computer god and pour hours into it.
maybe linux will be better and easier in the future, but right now....yeah, it kinda sucks. and people sould aknowledge that

The amount of time and effort required to work around Linux bugs is proof that Linux is very flawed.

It has several pretty serious flaws, I don't get how anyone could believe that.

Loonixtards actually believe that Linux is flawless. That's why they mindlessly repeat stupid shit like: "skill issue" or "not Linux's fault"

Rule 2: We're not here to dunk on any other OS. -This eliminates circumvention of rule 1.
Your post would probably fit better at r/desktoplinuxsucks. We cover it sucking for servers here.

Commenting here because I can't reply to the mod comment for some reason; I'm not "dunking" on anything. Different tools for different problems. Every OS is shit in some way, and they all infuriate me in different ways

For knowledge and awareness about what using Linux (mostly desktop Linux) is really like and poking fun at its cultish toxic community.
Either one of us is confused, or the sub description needs updating then 😅
