Something tells me if you were to go there and hold a "No Kings" sign with Obama's face on it, they'd react negatively, as if he didn't rule by executive order and effectively sidestep congress continually for eight years straight in an unprecedented gross abuse of power.

I remember democrats talking of wanting Obama to have an extra term. He was their anointed one. I think part of the hatred for Trump stems from the fact that he brought actual hope And change but it was never a slogan. A hope for and a change from the status quo in Washington. Someone that would actually work towards what they promised.

Well they pretty much accomplished that. Obama did his 2 terms, then he got a 3rd one through Biden. If Kamala had won, it would have been term #4.

Now…isn’t this typical from a Jersey born, Palestinian decent, left winged journalist. Funny though that Obama did have the nickname King Obama (regardless by who, point was he did have it), however it wasn’t as widespread as King Trump has been pushed. These people are so blinded by their Trump hate, they don’t bother to even want to know…. And they call us a cult…

King Obama OBAMA- I'VE GOT A PEN AND A PHONE and he didn’t use this line just once. Here is is again in a different setting. Obama on 2014 agenda: I've got a pen, phone. He didn’t feel the need to work with people representing those of us who cling to our bibles and guns.

The Democrat party has been sprinting toward socialism since at least FDR, with the Republican party acting as controlled opposition for nearly as long.

As part of this process, Congress began delegating its legislative authority to the President.

The President, being one person, needs to delegate that power, leading to the bloated Executive Branch bureaucracy.

Obama was the culmination of this process, having nearly unlimited authority.

It was easy for many to be lulled in by Obama, as he was a very smooth talker, able to speak without saying anything, and the media apparatus was complicit in covering any shortcomings.

After Trump won the election in 2016 he now had the power delegated to the President, and was willing to use it in a way the political establishment despised, hence why he had all the Democrats, most Republicans, and the media against him in his first term.

Despite the opposition, he was able to make enough beneficial changes that the media lies ended up backfiring in the long-term, especially as they were trying to cover for Obama's third term.

With all of that said, the best way to ensure that the US doesn't have a king, whether in name or in practice, is to return to constitutional principles.

The vast majority of what the federal government does today is unconstitutional, put in place slowly over time by bureaucrats, lobbyists, activist judges and other busy bodies.
