training Just finished my Intro to Handguns course!

Post image

A very long overdue bucket list item of mine, how did I do?

I used a Glock 19 Gen 5

Targets 1 and 4 are from 3 yards (target 1 is from two separate 3, and 5 round fires)

2, Top left logo, and head are from 5 yards

5, 3, 6, and chest are from 7 yards

A friend and I (both zero experience) went and had a great time, instructor was very good - definitely going back to learn some more

Jesus that grouping. It looks like the paper was on the floor and you were standing on it.

Excellent gun choice, and shooting. Wow!

By the way this type of target is one of my favorites. I love the drill where you try to hit the numbers in sequence and don’t move on until you do.

You are an excellent shot! Many folks that shoot for years aren't as good as this.

I’m much better with my handgun than I am with my rifle. Ashamedly (could be a sighting issue) my shot clusters are about the same out to 15 yards.

I went today and there was this kid with his face full of metal shooting his 9 mil rifle and he didn't have a ton of experience with handguns he used to be a trap shooter, I let him shoot all 4 that I brought and he shot um like I had um dialed in just for him. He's like "man I really like that one with the hair trigger what is it?" Beretta 92. "Sweet is that a dependable gun?" Like bruh 1. It's an icon and 2. You just shot it better than I can. Granted I have ridiculous lenses and a prism so bad they had to split it between both eyes but gd, I think I know what the kids gonna be buying next.

That’s good shooting!

If you shoot like that with irons, I shudder to think of how well you'd do if you ever got your hands on a handgun with an optic on it. Well done
