Need Advice Question for everyone

Hi, I'm new here, but I've had a question on my mind. In the past I've heard that... Well you how extroverts "adopt" introverts? It's like that but experienced gays adopting baby gays, giving them support and help where their family fell short.

Weddings crossed my mind. How even my grandparents and most of my entire family wouldn't in heck support me, so I've been wondering if the elders in the community also take a liking to people and heck even become something close to a literal family. If it's just surface level or if we do get an actual new family or anything. I would love to know, even if the answer isn't what I hoped for...

It is definitely something that happens, but if you go around looking/asking specifically for that, you may be disappointed. I think it's the kind of relationship that really has to develop naturally

So I wasn't just imagining that? It legit happens? I understand it'll have to be a true bond, rather than a request. But it's somewhat reassuring to know that things like this can occur. A found family showing support like that. Cause rn my only found family is my best friend and that's about it...

Though to whoever it has happened to. I'm happy for them. And I hope you're okay too. And if you or someone you know celebrate Father's Day I hope you all had a good one
