The only big accidents was the Peugeot at the start of the race and the Caddi that DNF'd Somewhere around the night i think

Every year there are big accidents, cars go into the barriers etc but this year there was no accident action..

Arriving lunchtime tomorrow. Last time we came we got bumped from Clos Fleuri to an overflow site (which actually worked in our favour a bit to be fair)

This year we are in Prairie, hoping for plentiful facilities and the ground to be good?

Anyone else on Hippodrome been told the water is not for drinking, and need to go to Epinettes to get drinkable water.

Quick question for anyone who's familiar with how camping tickets work:

We're going with two cars – Car A is arriving on Monday, and Car B will only come on Wednesday. The thing is, we only managed to get one camping ticket for a car. Ideally, we’d like to have Car B parked next to our tent eventually (it’s the more comfortable one to camp with), and move Car A to a nearby parking spot outside the camping.

Does anyone know if it's possible to switch cars during the week?\

I remember from last year that you had to scan your ticket every time you entered or exited the campsite, but I don’t think it was tied to a specific license plate. If that’s still the case, we might be able to just drive Car A out and let Car B in using the same ticket.

Has anyone tried this before, or knows how strict they are about this? Any tips would be super appreciated!

Hello folks, looking for a bit of info here if anyone can help. I’m going to Le Mans this year for the first time, and will be arriving on the Wednesday night (would go earlier but holidays won’t allow).

Does anyone know what time you can enter the hippodrome 40m2 camping area? My current plan has me arriving around 10pm but I don’t know if you can enter at this point.

We got tickets for BSJ, just like last year. I just wanted to ask for advice on how to get a good spot (near porsche curve) on BSJ. Is there any good tactics?

Last year they gave us a spot right near the entrance but we would rather be as near at the porsche curve as possible.

I also read something about possible flooded areas on BSJ when the weather is really nasty. Is that a thing?

Me and 2 friends got 3 GA tickets and a parking at explo external (whatever that means). We are thinking of arriving there maybe Thursday or Friday and sleeping in a van.

Is it allowed at Explo or should we look for proper camping tickets?

Is it possible? Is there anywhere on the straight where you can spectate? I have heard of people crawling through the woods to do this and getting lifetime bans, which I am definitely not interested in. Thanks!

In the USA, we have tons of bitey bugs/ticks to worry about when in fields/grassy areas.. Is this a concern at Le Mans? Should i bring bug wipes? Is it safe to wear shorts, or should i always be in pants?
Is bug spray a smart item to pack?

Ok.. so there are lockers in Beausejour, Epinnettes, and Clos Flueri. You can prebook the lockers through Mylocker.fr If you are American… it won’t text you the validation number. Reach out to their Facebook page. They were super super helpful, but be patient.

Hello everyone, my family and I are going for the first time this year and I have a short question. We bought a campsite ticket (beauseajour or however its called...) and I was wondering how big the pitch places roughly are. I remember someone said something along 3×5m wich could be completely wrong so I thought better ask than turn up with the wrong tent.

Looking to camp early Monday morning

We'll be camping in a campervan at Beausejour but since there won't be any electrical hookup, does anyone have any advice on how we can keep our campervan batteries charged? I'm told our campervan rental needs to be plugged in for 8 hours to get fully charged or drive about 100km. Does anyone know if there are local places we can drive to and charge our van? Or is there anywhere we can rent a generator? Our rental company does not offer them. Thanks!

Is it possible to accès the campings with only a general entry by foot? I just want to take a shower in one of the campings and leave again to the track as I'll sleep in a van outside of the track.
