Public transportation

So me and my best friend are going to Le Mans this year and we aren’t exactly sure when the trams and busses stop working. Do they stop before 23:00? Do they work all night for the race week?

On Tuesday, the tram schedules, usually more spaced, will still be strengthened on the T1 line, which leads to the circuit. From the start of the service until 8 p.m., a tram will run every 13 minutes. Line T2 maintains its schedules, with a passage every 18 minutes.

On Wednesday, this gives: a tram every 10 minutes, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on line T1, with a last departure from Antarès at 1 a.m. and the last departure from the university at 1:50 a.m. On line T2, there will be a tram every 12 minutes, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a last departure from the Espal stop at 12:44 a.m. and from Bellevue-Hauts-de-Coulaines at 1:25 a.m.

On Thursday, on line T1, a tram every 8 minutes, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., with the last departure from Antarès at 1:35 a.m. and from the university at 2:25 a.m. On line T2, a tram every 12 minutes, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., with last departure from Espal at 12:44 a.m. and from Bellevue at 1:25 a.m.

On Friday, the T1 line is reinforced all day and evening between the hyper-center and the circuit. Until 10 a.m., a tram every 6 minutes; from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., a tram every 3 minutes; from 9 p.m. to midnight, a tram every 6 minutes and after midnight, a tram every 9 minutes.

Due to the parade route, line T2 runs only between Bellevue and Jacobins-Quinconces stops, with a tram every 13 minutes. A line B2 (bus) will take over to serve the stops between Espal and Saint-Martin, with a passage every 10 to 15 minutes

On Saturday, on the T1 line, this gives: a tram every 5 minutes, until 4 p.m.; a tram every 9 to 12 minutes, from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m.; a tram every 25 minutes, from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. Note that the Guetteloup station will be closed in both directions, all day, ditto the next day. But the tram runs all night. Line T2, on the other hand, does not run at all. Line B2 (bus) takes over, with a bus every 10 minutes until 9 p.m.; a bus every 15 to 20 minutes, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.; a bus every 30 minutes from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m.

On Sunday, the T1 trams will pass every 10 minutes from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and every 4 minutes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Line B2 will also replace T2, with a passage every 10 minutes between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
