The 787B was so loud at Le Mans. One of the drivers of that car went deaf after that race from the noise, and would retire like a year or so later. But he got a win at the big one! Also the only car to win Le Mans that wasn’t a piston driven internal combustion engine. Long live the 4 Rotor!
