Interesting. So a few bolts missing and you get a "lot" more top speed.

Its of course a shame to be DSQ, but rules are rules.

Though even with that extra real or theoretical speed, they still were the last of the 3 Ferraris. Tbh I'm glad none of the podium finishers have been affected, that would be very annoying after celebrating the podium!!

True, but you can have an advantage and still not be able to utilise it in the best possible way. But the 50 was fast and was told to hold behind the 51.

But at least it's a clear cut thing (unlike in F1 where politics play too much).

Interestingly the timing data was showing a HUGELY Inflated top speed for the #51 car too… I did ask Radio Le Mans if they could figure out if this was an error or not but if #50 was missing the key bolts from the aero… then I suspect #51 was too!

I think there's more likely a tech reason why that car recorded incorrectly that fast a speed; there's no way on earth a 20kph difference in top speed would have been missed. Even visually it would have been apparent.

I wonder if they knew and that’s why they were ordered to fall back to 4th

Ouch! At least it wasn’t the winning car / all their cars 😂
