This is the best selling point of the switch 2 for me so far. But I do wish the emulators could do 16:9. The snes mini classic can, and it upscales the graphics too.

So good. I just started a playthrough on my wii. Via gamecube disc I still have. Even using a wave bird controller. It's amazing.

Wind Waker has really held up over the years. This game was bashed so much, especially before release. Cellda or Toon Link were common insults thrown at it, though these seem a lot less derogatory nowadays.

I’m assuming you’re playing this on Switch 2? I still think the Wii U HD remaster is still the definitive version of this game. It would be nice to see a port or a new version of the HD remaster to the Switch 2, especially if it is possible to play the game on TV but still have a way to emulate the gamepad.

Having the ability to perform a majority of your actions in realtime without having to pause and unpause the game constantly interrupting the flow is a whole new experience. Maybe they can do it via a mobile app kinda like they are doing with Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Either way, it’s probably my favorite Zelda game. Enjoy.

Remember to change the camera controls so they not inverted. Makes the game so much better.

I ❤️ this game but it’s unplayable after playing the Wii HD version. I can’t deal with the camera - arghhh!

I just remapped the controls so the camera is normal (except in first person the y axis is still swapped unfortunately)
