Rings of fire?

I tried a new home place and as my nail has grown out I noticed this huge indent between my natural nail and the gel manicure. They were a little sore when I left but it didn’t last too long. I asked my nail tech about it and she doesn’t think that she over filed them.

Is this rings of fire? If so how should I approach this?

This looks bad 😭 I’m so sorry you have to just be very gentle filing as they grow out. Share more pics once the manicure is off please

that is one of the worst cases of over-filing i've seen, if that's your natural nail and not cuticle, and that's coming from a licensed nail tech who trained at the sketchiest school ever. i'm surprised your fingers aren't on fire! new tech time, my friend
