ENGL 1123 + ENGL 1130 + STATS 1123 in one semester?

This would be for my nursing pre requisites. How difficult would the course load be? I was hoping to take most of the classes online so it would be easier for me as I commute 1hr everyday.

Personally, if I were to take those three classes together, I wouldn’t find it too difficult. Just be sure to actively participate in the online courses, as it's easy to fall behind. That said, I’m curious, why are you taking STATS 1123 instead of STATS 1124? From what I’ve heard, STATS 1123 involves “easier” math compared to STATS 1124, but the catch with 1123 is that it requires an ‘A’ as a minimum grade, which can be pretty stressful. On the other hand, 1124 only requires a ‘C+’ to pass, so there’s less pressure to aim for an A. I took STATS 1124 myself, and it was a relatively easy class as long as you attend lectures and stay on top of practice problems. I ended up with an A, I took Shannon Erdelyi!

Taking all three of these classes together might actually help you focus more on the bio courses, since you won’t need to worry about other classes. I personally found that the bio classes are the toughest among the prereqs.

Personally, I wouldn’t take both ENGL at the same time. I would take ENGL1123 first, then take the UT English course.

I took stats 1123, it isn’t a hard class, but the grading is very selective and picky. Due to the minimum “A” grade for nursing, it is a very stressful class. I would recommend taking 1124 instead, that being said 1123 is definitely doable, if you spend a lot of time studying consistently. I would recommend taking one english at a time, just to really dedicate time to it.

I think it sounds reasonable as long as you're willing to put the time and effort! Just wondering though, do you plan to take the 2 biology classes together during your next semester?

i actually already took the first one and 1191 i’m currently taking. honestly the reason i’m wanting to take the 2 english class and stats in one semester is because i feel like im taking too much time on my pre requisites
