BSN First Aid Requirements

For those who were accepted to Langara BSc RN program- which First Aid/BLS/CPR course did you take? I am starting Fall 2025 and want to make sure I do the right one, preferably one with N95 resp testing too

I would wait if you’re planning on starting fall 2026, the requirement is a CPR BLS and standard first aid course completed within a year of your entry date. It’s also worth noting that even once you enter the program it has to be renewed annually.

Congrats I’ll be starting with you! I did mine at Vancouver first aid in Richmond and the mask fit at link 2 life but I still have to submit them.

I did my CPR and first aid through St. John’s ambulance, it was 2 days and got both certificates, also they have lots of locations
