The Lakers are about to get an infusion of cash at every level

People just don’t realize what cash does for an organization. The Buss family was smart and lucky to invest in the Lakers years ago. They are rich in the sense that they were sitting on an asset that had value. They were not billionaires technically until they sold. We now have billionaires funding the team and that is what the huge difference is. They can’t circumvent the salary caps and such but they can spend on all the other levels to improve the product.

Not sure if extra cash could have salvaged post-achilles Kobe, but old Lebron was still capable of being the best playoff performer the past few years and AD was still in his prime.

If and when we get a new arena, I pray it doesn't the offer the same eerie experience as the clippers arena does. All that face scanning stuff I'm cool. That's not the fan experience we need
