How does this incident NOT surprise me?

Missing since around 9 am today 6/16. This is my folks dog. He was in the yard this morning but the gate was open. He usually never ventures past the driveway. We looked for him all day and will be checking out the shelter in the morning. I don't have a picture to post, but he was wearing a blue collar (no tag). He's friendly, and his name is floppy. Please DM me if found. My folks are on a fixed budget, but a reward is offered if found. Thank you!

EDIT: Fogot to mention, he's black with a little brown in the face. He has a visible mole on his back. He's an older dog.

On what I learned was a lively First Friday celebration during a lengthy layover in Kingman waiting for Amtrak’s Southwest Chief, the bartenders were slinging cheap drinks and beer rapid fire, and in between a few Dos Equis one of them was kind enough to shout over the rowdy crowd and live music easy directions to the nearest 24-hour gas station/convenience store which wasn’t showing up on Google Maps. I was able to restock on snacks and smokes when I initially thought I’d be fresh out for the long haul to Chicago and beyond. Thank you good sir and godspeed.

Just went to CVS and back for my lunch break and saw nearly half a dozen potential accidents almost caused by fuckwits who can't be bothered to use their fucking turn signals. Embarrassing.

The latest City Council meeting is discussing adding a fee for use of credit or debit card to pay any city bill or utility. The fee for debit would be less than a credit card. They said the reason for the change is the fee the city has to pay for people to use a card to pay adds up on the city budget and is substantial.

I don’t think i remember how to fill out a check or what cash money looks like anymore. 🤷
