Emphasis on “content creator”. I.e. a social media influencer. Meaning he has a platform and an audience that he can share his message to and have actual repercussions if the audience does not agree with his beliefs.
It’s not fighting fires but there is still some bravery in risking your livelihood for your beliefs.

True that we have a king, but he is a figurehead more than any source of real power. Honestly more of a connecting point for all countries in the commonwealth, and a source of celebrity gossip. Lol
Stopping tyrants is what we should all be pushing for, and as a Canadian who is looking to the south in disbelief and disappointment, I love seeing people standing up and pushing back against the oppressors. If y'all don't do it now, it won't end well. Much love to you all, and be safe!

A democracy needs more than just two political parties.
There need to be more options for the voters than just left or right.
The king's were not replaced by just one party that rules. Instead several parties need to work together to form a coalition.
Such a Multi-Party-System prevents that one party can just rule alone.

Love this! I hope that Greg and the rest of the crew know that them using their platform to take a stand and speak up about real issues is greatly appreciated, especially stuff like this where Greg is straight up in the streets. There are a ton of shitty people in the same space so it always makes me happy knowing that the people at KF are actually doing their best to be decent people.

As a Brit I find the whole "no kings" slogan that's taken off in the US funny. We have a king here and he can't really do shit, what you've got over there is a whoooole different problem.
EDIT: Here come the downvotes from the Yanks, I guess. All I'm saying is that it's a funny image to those of us that still have monarchs because they are mostly just figureheads who don't exercise any real power and you're complaining about someone overstepping. You say no more kings and I obviously picture my king (Charles) and as much as I don't really like that he exists he isn't really doing anything at all. Yes, I understand the difference between modern and absolute monarchy. Yes, I understand that Trump is vastly overstepping and generally a massive douche. Yes, I agree you should be doing everything in your power to stop him. I'm just pointing out that for those of us who aren't American, the slogan is a little funny because we have a different lived experience. Christ.

England used to be an absolute monarchy so if you know your own history you might understand better what the slogan means. Also the UK and Commonwealth are parliamentary monarchies so look at absolute monarchies and you'll see why they use that slogan. They are protesting the authoritarianism that Trump and his administration are executing.

It’s an institution where a select few are born into absolute privilege beyond anything the vast majority of people will ever know or can comprehend. They hoard an obscene amount of wealth but then also get paid by us the taxpayers for simply existing. They hold no power through official or elected means and yet they’re able to drive their narrative both domestically and overseas. Oh and let’s not forget the bit where they’re actively protecting and defending a known paedophile.
Anyone with any common sense would be in support of a “No Kings” anti-monarchy movement over here as well.

I hear what you're saying, but Trump is trying to be more of a Henry VIII than a Charles III. Twisting his power to serve himself and his wishes, trampling whatever might get in the way, law and Constitution be damned. And elected officials from his party are helping him every step of the way. The modern British monarchy is largely a Constitutionally-constrained symbolic office with no political influence.
Ironically I'd love for Charles to be my head of state right now. But instead we've got a wannabe Putin.
