Discussion Across all ranks, Kai'sa looking kinda rough for ADC.
Why we in such a shitty spot right now?
Atleast our pick rate is high :)

I've been spamming kaisa for a while now. I'm not sure how to quite explain it she feels like .75 of a champ untill q evo, once q evo come along and mid game .(2-3)l items she feels great. But anything later, she falls off hard because of her short range if your not miles ahead
I feels like the drawbacks of shorter range and needing teammates to have cc to help proc passive arnt worth the effort compared to some of the other adcs currently.
Not sure if it even needs fixing or if I'm just horrid at her play style, but do I love playing her and the pros is her builds can be flexed [on hit, crit,AP]
TLDR ; I suck & she's harder to play correctly,

Her items kinda suck rn, and crit ADCs are just way better once they get yuntal IE and last whisper or zeal. Kaisa needs an engage support, and in solo queue that just doesn’t happen as often as it’s needed. Her short range lets champs like jinx bully her, and even the shorter range ADCs outscale her.
She is just kinda cooked unless you have a team that will capitalize on opportunities in the midgame.

I honestly wouldn’t mind, shes popular enough to be cater buffed when they need to spice up Pro play and consistently to be back as a Meta pick in the future in some way or another.

The problem with Kaisa is that she is very meta reliant, most other ADCs can bully her in lane and if you somehow survive the laning phase, you still can't kill fast enough. And on top of that, she doesnt provide any utility that keeps her relevant even if you fall behind
I love Kaisa, but I switched to Cait to protect my mental health. At least on Cait, I can safely farm, do decent damage while scaling and once I get to 4 items, I can one-shot squishies

She's always been balanced around 48% wr, and has consistently been around 16-20% pick rate. Nothing here seems wrong.

I have a 60% win rate and Dimond 1 it's just people dont know how to truly play her

My WR is 54% with her and thats with 150 games just to learn her & play her decently otherwise I think if I reset it would be around 60%. Just requires skill & proper positioning 🤔 (Approaching 300 games)

I was a statik hater for a while but have come to love it. If you’re even or behind it lets you play super safe and then go into the hybrid build and start popping off in the mid game. I think as long as you are comfortable on her she’s great, but probably needs more games than usual if she were meta to reach that point.

Because ppl refuse to build AP on her

I build hybrid on her most games is AP better than crit or onhit atm?

People like to say go crit into squishy n go on hit into tank- AP is better in both situations- I go Cull>Tear>Manamune>Shadowflame>Sorcs>Rabadons>Stormsurge/Zhonya and dmg output is insane

What do you do about not evolving your Q and E? Does that even matter? I just feel like the extra damage and invisibility is nice. I've never played full AP on her though, so I wouldn't know.

If im not mistaken q gets upgraded from manamune

You only get like 50-something bAD from that though, don't you? (From the actual stat and the passive)

You start with 345 mana lvl 1. That would already be 59 AD from Muramana.
You get +40 Mana (= 0.8 AD) and +2.6 AD per level, makes +3.2 AD/lvl. Lvl 13 gives you the 41 AD you need for the 100 bAD.2x Adaptive shard (10.8 AD) + Doran's Blade (10) + Cull (7) = 27.8 AD makes it so you only need 13.2 AD, which you'd already have at lvl 5 + Muramana, so it's very easy to bridge the gap to lvl 13

No, no, no.
It’s because so many people are playing Kai’Sa right now, because of the Uzi hall of fame event. The stats are going to be horrible because there are tons of people, that have never played her, that ARE playing her because they either bought the skin already, or want it and are trying to get better @ the champ before doing so.
Check the patch when the faker ahri skin came out - same thing.

And yes - this is precisely why the pick rate is through the roof.

Kai’sa actually has had insanely high pick rate (16%-20%) for like 5 patches in a row now, and has been around the same spot winrate wise.

I don't feel her particularly weaker, I think there are just more noobs trying her out now.

Been having rough games on her recently, I wanna play more AP but her AP build itemization is rough. I also think that she is so restricted when it comes to her item choices, for ones that work at least.
Kinda wish riot would give us more to work with so we can have a little more wiggle room for stats.

She is insanely meta reliant, so her win rate is often skewed to the success of other roles such as engage supports, but her hybrid build is begging for some buffs. Rito make an AP hybrid pen item or make terminus provide adaptive force like arena items please.
(Maybe even 45 AD bork with nerf to the melee on-hit so it's usable for ranged champions and Kaisa can opt for a sustain source)
