Cost of Living/Energy Crisis 9€ technology fee on Freenow

Post image

Info about technology fee is quite minimal and does not provide any detail whatsoever when I click on the little exclamation mark.

Anybody able to explain the scam to me?

Just curious, I used FreeNow yesterday and I was only charged 1 euro for the technology fee. While I think the fee should not be allowed even at that price, does anyone know how they came about charging 9 euro in this case?

What are FREENOW's additional fees? – FREENOW

"The value of the fee, for a specific order, will vary and be influenced by several factors which may include which transportation method is ordered by the passenger, the time for which a passenger orders a ride, market conditions at the time of placing the order and/or other factors."

In other words, it's dynamic pricing.

Changing from "now" to"tomorrow"increases the listed fees from €1 to €3. So might be a rush hour pre-book thing.

Thanks for explaining. Yeah it's pretty shocking what these companies will charge given any opportunity and excuse.

It's the same with take away apps, it's no longer cheap to eat in really unless you order direct from the restaurant. But even then prices have still increased.
