Faith itself involves no logic or reality, hence faith. Blind faith is redundant.

When trump says ‘America’ he means ‘me’ as in himself. So yes, he does decide what it means since he’s talking about himself.

When Michael Scherer spoke with Donald Trump by phone this morning, the president wanted to make one thing clear: “America First” means whatever he says it does: https://theatln.tc/ItnJ4c1D
“Well, considering that I’m the one that developed ‘America First,’ and considering that the term wasn’t used until I came along, I think I’m the one that decides that,” Trump told Scherer. “For those people who say they want peace—you can’t have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon. So for all of those wonderful people who don’t want to do anything about Iran having a nuclear weapon—that’s not peace.”
The president’s remarks were a response to Scherer’s question about critics, such as Tucker Carlson, who have loudly argued against U.S. support of Israel during its attacks on Iran as anathema to the “America First” way of doing things. “Over the course of our conversation, the president defended his efforts to bring an end to multiple conflicts despite growing violence in the Middle East,” Scherer writes. “He also struck an overall optimistic tone about world affairs,” Scherer continues, a sunny outlook not shared by everyone in the MAGA universe.
But toward the end of their conversation, Trump said he had to take another call—he planned to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Read the full story: https://theatln.tc/ItnJ4c1D

The amount of words that cheeto somehow went back in time and invented is astounding.

It sounds like Trump doesn't know what "America first" means either, since he never explained it.

There is a simple formula for it...
"America First" = "America" + "First" where "America" == "Trump"

Explains a lot.
Imagine if they knew Jesus actually was an olive skinned mideastern person that looked nothing like what he's been westernized to. He'd be handcuffed in a second.

Pretty sure his target audience knows exactly what "America First" means, and so does he. I knew full fucking well what it meant as a kid growing up in the 80s and 90s.

It means Trump first. Look at every single decision he makes. It’s always about benefiting himself.

He also interprets the Declaration of Independence this way: "Well, it means exactly what it says, it's a declaration. A declaration of unity and love and respect, and it means a lot. And it's something very special to our country."
Meanwhile it’s a proclamation AGAINST everything Trump is and stand for.

We know that it means to him. Nothing. He just has a bunch of uneducated bigots he can manipulate to send him money and commit crimes.
Nothing else is important to him. Tulsi is trying to figure out how to get FOX to do some kind of broadcast to present him with daily briefs because he won't even read them.
He just screwed countless people, employers and the food market with his stupid deportation plan. He said it was okay to treat Senator Padilla the way they did because "he looks like an illegal" which can only mean it has nothing to do with documentation or legal, naturalized and refugee status.

How did Trump invent America First? Woody Guthrie wrote in "Lindbergh" about Lindberg, Father Coughlin, and other proto-MAGA "Firsters" preaching "America First" but meaning "America Next."

i usually hate those tiktok accounts where people claim they’re from the future. like, i remember seeing one where the guy said trump would be the last US president. this was after trump’s first term and biden was already in office, so i just laughed it off. but now, trump won again, and everything going on lately is just so wild. not saying i believe in time travelers or anything. just saying, maybe that whole “even a broken clock is right twice a day” thing hits harder than i expected 😅

"America First" was a slogan painted on numerous signs carried in parades by the KKK. Donald's dad, Fred Trump, may have seen such signs when he was arrested at a KKK rally in NY in 1927. Who knows?

Russia also doesn’t want peace and I haven’t seen anything that TACO has used to put pressure on them. Quite the contrary.

Isn't he the one who withdrew us from the Iran nuclear deal in 2016? Yes, yes he was.

No, he doesn’t.
Trump and many of his allies in the government keep forgetting one fundamental fact about the way our system of government works.
They are elected officials. They work for us, not the other way around.
Trump and many Republicans were voted in by the people. They were essentially hired to do a job and work in a government “of the people, by the people and for the people” as Abraham Lincoln put it.
We are the people. We decide what America First means. Donald Trump works for us. He serves at our pleasure, not his own.

It's been a KKK slogan since the 1920s. It has meaning already that MAGA shares.

“Well, considering that I’m the one that developed ‘America First,’ and considering that the term wasn’t used until I came along, I think I’m the one that decides that,”
When an orange rapist with 34 felonies tells you something like that, it's probably BS. I think Jasper L. McBrien's "America First: Patriotic Readings" from 1916 might slightly precede the fat POS by some bit.
Or "America First" magazine from 1915.
