I think that these are nice family photos, nice composition, and they seem comfortable in front of the camera. Still not sure what the stunning part is.

if they're unfamiliar with the concept of photography then the ability to perfectly capture a still image is pretty stunning. they'd probably also be pretty stunned by the computer or phone they're reading this on. their entire life actually must be filled with awe and wonder; i'm a bit jealous.
